The short version: we keep your email address to tell you when a new film is out, and nothing else. No ads, no tracking, no selling.
Who is responsible
CaseReplay is run by Andy Arntsen in Norway, who is the data controller. Questions or requests: hello@casereplays.com.
What we collect
Only your email address, whether you are subscribed, and when you signed up or confirmed. We don't ask for your name and we don't track opens or clicks.
When you sign up, we send one email with a confirmation link. Your address is added to the list only after you click it. If you don't, nothing more is sent.
Why, and on what basis
To send you one email when a new CaseReplay film is published. The basis is your consent (GDPR article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
Who helps us
- Resend stores the list and sends the emails. Resend is based in the United States, so your address is processed there.
- Vercel hosts this site. Like any web server, it briefly logs technical data such as IP addresses.
- The film thumbnails on this page load from YouTube (Google), which can see your IP address when they load.
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe. Every email has an unsubscribe link. After that we keep only the fact that you unsubscribed, so you are never emailed again by mistake. Ask us and we delete that too.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw your consent, by writing to hello@casereplays.com. If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet.
